HS Science Focus 1

In this session teachers will participate and engage in strategies that will get their students up and moving.  Brain based research shows “The strategic use of Frequent, Small Group, Purposeful Talk allows the teacher to reset student attention spans and surf the boredom wave.” Brain activity increases with movement.  Moving will help students be more engaged in the lesson.  This will help support students with the increased rigor of new test items.
